Clear aligners in an orthodontic plan
Invisalign treatment uses a planned sequence of removable aligners to guide selected tooth movements. The process begins with an assessment of teeth, gums, bite, and treatment goals.
Planning and records
Digital scans, photographs, or diagnostic imaging may be used when appropriate. A digital preview can support planning and discussion, but it is not a guarantee of the final result.
What treatment requires
Aligners generally need to be worn according to the prescribed schedule and removed for eating, drinking anything other than water, and oral hygiene. Appointments allow progress to be checked and the plan adjusted when needed.
Treatment time, comfort, attachments, refinements, and retention needs vary. Ask the practice how the current Invisalign workflow applies to your needs.
