Evaluation comes first
Before whitening, an examination can help identify the cause of discoloration, existing restorations, sensitivity, gum health, and dental conditions that may need attention. Crowns, veneers, fillings, and other restorations do not whiten like natural teeth.

Sensitivity and results vary. The practice should explain the current protocol, alternatives, limitations, and aftercare for an individual plan. No specific shade change, treatment time, or duration of results is promised here.
